dark-channels is a personal tool used only by its owner to publish videos to the owner's own YouTube channels. It uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
When the owner signs in with Google, the tool requests permission to upload videos and manage
the owner's YouTube channels (scopes youtube.upload and youtube.force-ssl).
It reads the selected channel's ID and title, and its branding settings when updating them.
Data is used only to upload the owner's videos, captions and thumbnails, and to update the owner's channel branding. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
OAuth tokens are stored only on the owner's computer, in a local file that is never uploaded or shared. No data is sent to any server operated by dark-channels (there is none), and no data is sold or shared with third parties. Information sent to YouTube is processed by Google under its own policies.
Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account security settings: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Deleting the local token file also removes the tool's stored access.
